One of the world’s well-known celebrations is coming – Father’s Day. Interestingly, while most countries celebrate Father’s Day in June, but Australia celebrates it on the first Sunday of September. It also marks the beginning of Spring! This is a perfect day for kids to show their love to their dads. Have you run out of ideas on how to mark this special day? Here are 20 activity ideas for toddlers to enjoy a fantastic day out (or in) with their dads (Mommies, shout out for your me-time!)

  1. Home Movie Night

Get into your favorite sleepwear, pick out great movie, make popcorn or prepare a snack platter, and enjoy a cozy movie night together!

  1. Cook Together

Preparing ingredient and cooking simple food with dad together can be fun and rewarding experience. Baking cookies can be a great idea where kids can shape and design the dough into what they think of their dads.

  1. Indoor Camping

Set up a tent in the living room, decorate the tent with fairy lights, grab some sleeping bags, soft toys, story books and snacks. What a magical dad-kids bonding time.

  1. Science Experiments

Conduct your own science experiment at home with simple ingredients, or get some kits from Amazon or local toy shops nearby. Record the experiments with your kids. It will be a memorable video for them to cherish when they grow up.
